Love their food wish the place was cleaner. If you want authentic mexican food (from Michoacan) this is the place. The handmade (yellow) tortillas are really good, they are freshly made with your order. Their beans are BOMB almost as good as my grandma's. I did see a review mention the beans are watery but that is how traditional mexican beans are - well at least in my family.
I have tried almost every item on the menu. My favorite ones are the carne en salsa de molcajete, the costillas en salsa roja, and for breakfast chilaquiles with an over medium egg on top. The carne en salsa de molcajete is super tender and has a good kick/flavor to it; the costillas are good but not consistently good - if that makes sense; the red chilaquiles I love, they are crispy, cheesy, and overall just yummy. My husband usually goes with the chicken enchiladas which in my opinion are not all that. The tortillas in the enchiladas don't seem to be dipped in the sauce, it almost seems like they roll them and then they just pour sauce on top and add cheese that doesn't even melt well.
In my experience coming here for years, customer service sucks! Unless your a regular and "your" waitress is working that day. If not, then you will have to secure a table by sitting on a table that most likely still has the dirty plates from the previous people that ate there. Even with all this chaos, I still gave it 4 starts because of their tortillas, "my waitress" she is the best :) and this might sound weird but they have the coldest sodas ever, their refrigerator puts some serious work! -

At a gas station, limited parking.
Came here and had a Chile relleno plate which had rice, beans, Chile relleno and fresh hand made tortillas. I liked everything and it was what I craved which I would define as dirty Mexican food. YUM! -

I'm very unsatisfied with the service that was provided today. I had called by phone to place an order of Caldo de Albóndigas(Meatball soup) for pick up and was told that the order will be ready in 10 minutes. When I arrived the woman said that there wasn't any order that was placed by phone for pick. So I decided to place the order again. It took 25 minutes for them to pack the premade soup and to top it off... there was only 1 meatball in the soup. This type of soup definitely comes with more than 1 meatball!

I will not be coming back to this place. I have given this establishment three chances and all three times was such a horrible experience. My food was cold and my cheese was frozen... My husband's food on the other hand was hot and looked appealing. It is so hot inside that eating my food was very uncomfortable but I'm assuming that's why they had cold cheese. No matter how nice I am to the staff they always give me attitude. They need to learn to smile. If you don't like your job then find another. I almost cussed them out on our last visit but instead I'll bring it here.
